Bumper Plates Competition Series by Tru Grit Fitness are made to comply with the world registered IWF standards of 450MM in diameter, detailed with chrome-plated steel disc inserts, and a 50.40MM collar opening. Our design provides a stable hold against the barbell and collars.
The Competition plates provide minimal bounce, which provides the lifter with consistent dead blow each reach compared to other Olympic weightlifting bumper plates in the market. Providing minimal bounce means less time chasing your bar around during workouts.
Rounded out with an increased raised rubber edge is to prevent direct metal on metal contact between the plate center discs. The bumper plate features reduce scuffing of the plates and help in preserving the plates for many seasons. An increased rubber lip on the edge of the plate allows for easier moving and plate pick up of the ground.
