Airmen Apprentices provide critical support to sustain the mission of the Coast Guard's elite aviation units.
Rigorously applying their training to every task they undertake, these individuals are charged with repairing, maintaining, and stowing aircraft, performing ground and deck duties involved in aircraft launch and recovery, standing security watches, and serving as members of security alert teams. Tackling a full range of important duties, Airmen Apprentices are the foundation of the Coast Guard aerial fleet.
