The original DW6900 line of G-SHOCK watches debuted in 1995 and celebrated it’s 25th anniversary in 2020. With its popular “Triple Graph” LCD face design, the DW6900 line places a dial on top of the LCD face to provide an accented style not possible with an LCD face alone.
The digital DW6900HD-8 emphasizes this design with a hidden glow luminescent dial. The characteristic G-SHOCK toughness undergirds the luminescence with a shock-resistant case and 200m water resistance, also known as “wr 20bar.” The matte gray bezel and band fade to the background in the dark, supporting focus on the watch face during luminescence. The watch is also equipped with a powerful LED backlight (Super Illuminator) ensuring an easy read in the dark.
